The first and perhaps most important step in treating hearing loss is the consultation, where your goals become our goals. We work to understand what you’re experiencing and the hearing environments that give you difficulty so we can select the best hearing aid, adjust it, and program it correctly.
Of course, we’ll also conduct comprehensive hearing tests to quantify your hearing loss. And when you receive your hearing aids, we’ll verify the performance using best practices such as real-ear measurement. In follow-up appointments, we’ll ask how you’re doing and what we can do to enhance the quality of sound you’re perceiving.
