Mary Rose Bethel, Au.D., is a licensed clinical audiologist in Pennsylvania with a passion for helping individuals improve their hearing health. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, following her Masters of Audiology in 2020. Dr. Bethel also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from Loyola University-Maryland, completed in 2018. She currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Bethel’s training includes clinical experience at a school for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, several ENT offices, and UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh. She completed her externship year at UPMC Center for Audiology and Hearing Aids, where she also supervised audiology graduate students. She has published 3 articles based on her research regarding the clinical experiences of deaf and hard of hearing audiology graduate students. Her clinical interests include hearing aids, cochlear implants, and clinical education. Outside of work, Dr. Bethel enjoys spending quality time with her pit mix, Winnie, and cheering on her favorite Philly sports teams.
